Using a compatible web browser
The ASIPJ Funding Request Portal is best viewed through a web browser on a desktop, laptop or tablet device, using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Internet Explorer is not a supported browser.
How do I clear my cache and cookies in Chrome or Edge?
If problems logging into the ASIPJ Funding Request Portal continue on a supported browser, clear your cached files and cookies.
In Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, hold Ctrl + Shift + Delete to open the browsing data window. On a Mac, hold Cmd + Shift + Delete. Set the time range to "All time", tick "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files", then clear the data. Close the browser, open it again, and log in.
You can open the same window from the browser menu. In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security. In Edge, go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
Alternatively, hold Ctrl + Shift + N (Cmd + Shift + N on a Mac) to open an Incognito window in Chrome, or an InPrivate window in Edge, and log in there.
Two-factor authentication
Email and Microsoft Authenticator One Time Code options.
What is two-factor authentication?
For your security, the ASIPJ Funding Request Portal requires two-factor authentication (2FA). When setting up your account or logging in, you will be prompted to choose either email or the Microsoft Authenticator app as your preferred 2FA option. Most users find 2FA through email the easiest option to set up.
How do I use the email authentication method?
Once you have confirmed you want to use the email authentication method, each time you are required to log into the ASIPJ Funding Request Portal (including in the account set up process), a One Time Code is generated and sent to the email address you have signed up with. The One Time Code is a six digit number and will be different each time you log in.
How do I use the Microsoft Authenticator method?
To use this method, you need to download the Microsoft Authenticator app (if you do not already have it) and pair it with your ASIPJ Funding Request Portal account by using the QR code (or the on-screen code on the set-up page).
When prompted to enter a One Time Code on the portal, you will need to open the app and enter the six-digit number on screen. You need to do this quickly as the app resets the One Time Code every 30 seconds.
If you already have the app set up for other sites or accounts, make sure you select the correct account in the app when identifying the relevant One Time Code to enter.
Do I need to enter a One Time Code every time I log in?
Yes. For your security, whenever you try to log into the ASIPJ Funding Request Portal, you will need to enter a new six-digit One Time Code, which will be generated and sent to your email account if you are using the email authentication method, or shown in the app if you are using the Microsoft Authenticator method.
What are recovery codes for?
Recovery codes let you log in if you cannot use your usual 2FA method. For example, you no longer have your phone, or you can no longer open the email account you registered with.
The portal gives you a set of recovery codes when you set up 2FA. Copy them and keep them safe, away from the device you use for 2FA. Without them, you cannot get into your account if your 2FA method stops being available to you.
If you have no recovery codes left, or you cannot find them, contact our support team at SUPPORT-EMAIL-PLACEHOLDER@example.com
